Manatee Hope, Inc., Providing Therapies for Adults and the Elderly
For individuals who are unable to access therapy via private insurance and/or the public health system, Manatee Hope Inc., provides case management and direct therapy services as needed.
Manatee Hope Inc. is a payer of last resort. Individuals will be assisted to access the health care system. Case management services are provided to help find existing agencies which are providing applicable services and also identify if services via Manatee Hope Inc. is warranted.
Services for the adult and elderly include:
· Mental Health Counseling
Services include individual counseling, family counseling and group therapies. A variety of therapies provided including but not limited to depression, anxiety, relationship issues etc.
· Occupational Therapy
Mainly focusing on independence with activities of daily living including but not limited to dressing, grooming, home management and visual/fine motor skills.
· Physical Therapy
Mainly focusing on gross motor skills, including walking and bed mobility.
· Speech/Language Therapy
Mainly focusing on expressive and receptive language skills.
